Discover the Joy of Dance

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Lilia Margaryan discovered her passion for dance at an early age. In 1978, she was accepted into the prestigious Sayat Nova School of Dance, where she trained under renowned instructors including Pavlina Bornazian, Sona Avetisyan, Paylak Sarksian, and Hovig Khatchikian. She graduated with honors in 1986 and went on to join the Krounk Dance Ensemble under the direction of Azad Gharibian, performing featured solo roles and appearing internationally.

In 1989, Lilia moved to the United States, where she continued her lifelong dedication to Armenian dance and cultural education. She taught at Arshag Dikranian School, The Bert Dance Ensemble, Ararat Organization, and several respected Armenian schools including Ferrahian, Rose and Alex Pilibos, Mary Postoian Preschool, Sahag Mesrob, Chamlian, and Mesrobian. In 1990, she founded the Lilia Armenian and International Dance Studio, where she remains devoted to preserving Armenian heritage while inspiring new generations of dancers.
